Dreams and Interpretations

Dream:  "As I looked out the big picture window of my large beautiful home at the party below, I felt quite satisfied. There were plenty of my friends, young guys like me and beautiful girls poolside having a great time.  Suddenly some little people came in the party asking to use the pool.  As a matter of fact they were jumping from the ground level to the second floor window repeatedly saying, “let us use the pool man, let us use the pool”.  I said no, you cannot use the pool. Get out of here.  But the little people kept on.  They even went to get in the water. Then I became very angry and began to fight with one of them.  I picked the guy up and threw him into the pool.  Just as I threw him, the water disappeared and turned into cement.  The little man hit the cement and died. Man I was quite upset. Then I woke up. I feel like his dream has no meaning but I still want to understand.  Try to make sense of this.  If you do have an explanation I want to hear it.  I've been trying to make sense of it all morning.

Craig's Thoughts on the dream:  The dream always has a meaning.  First I want you to ask yourself, why didn’t you want the Little people at the party?  What if it was more beautiful girls who you did not know trying to get in the pool, would you have let them?  This is your dream, your creation. Your deeper self could have chosen anyone to crash the party.  What if it was Sean Puffy Combs? Would have let him swim?

(I actually did ask him and his reply was yea I would. I also asked What if it was Beonce and more pretty girls would you let them swim?  He said yea I would I would let them swim too.)

You have to remember that it was no coincidence your subconscious chose little people because it sounds like to you they were unacceptable.  Your dream is trying to tell you, that you need to be more accepting of people different than you, and everything does not have to be just the way you want it to be.  In your dream as soon as you got your life just the way you would like it to be something came up to ruin it in your eyes. This is also key to how you feel about life, but you have to remember nothing is perfect.  Better yet, nothing is what we perceive as perfect.  It was also no coincidence when you went to kick them out and began to fight, the guy you tossed in the pool died, something that bothered you quite a bit.  Your deeper self was telling you that when you don’t accept others simply because they are different than you, or not perfect in your eyes, it causes you to hurt them, something that you don’t mean to do, and even bothers you a lot in the end.  It was also telling you sometimes you just have to let things be.  You also may have to look into better ways of conflict resolution in your waking life.

This particular dream dealt a lot with symbolism.  Many times we will find that dreams that don’t make sense on the surface are still telling us a story about ourselves in order to bring certain truths to the surface.  The harder it is to accept, the more likely it is that we have to be told symbolically.  The little people jumping up and down symbolized something unacceptable.  The big house, the pool and party with many beautiful girls symbolized life the way you wanted it.  The little people crashing the party also symbolized life never working out in your eyes.  The little person dying symbolized the pain you could cause as a result of the way you presently view the world.  You talking to me about the dream was orchestrated by your subconscious in his waking dream (his life) to use me as an interpreter to help you see what you are ultimately telling yourself.
